Banning

We have extensive experience in advising on the commercial and competition law aspects of distribution, franchise agency & industrial contract manufacturing agreements in the Netherlands and the EU. Furthermore, we have been involved in several landmark competition cases before the Dutch Competition Authority and the Dutch civil courts.

As a leading firm in the automotive sector, we represent many dealer councils (both European and national), as well as the Dutch automotive trade association on (new) distribution, franchise and agency models and (other) competition law related matters. Other industries of focus are retail, construction, food & fast moving consumer goods markets.

Our Competition practice has been recommended consistently in the Legal500. Our expertise, practical advice and informal pleasant approach are highly valued. In 2020 we published the book Vertical Agreements in the EU and Belgium & Netherlands together with contrast. BANNING is a full service law firm with a team of experts for each practice group.
